Vulkan/SPIRV stack is a bit dated and out of sync in Mageia and it should be updated to a more recent version. The latest SDK version for now is 1.3.283.0 and the release/version for each package is listed in https://sdk.lunarg.com/sdk/download/1.3.283.0/linux/config.json.

I've managed to get all Mageia packages updated to this latest SDK release on my Cauldron system and it doesn't seem to show any regressions or issues for me at least.

This seem to be a call for help/collaboration from packagers.

Is this something that should be updated in Mageia 9 too?

I don't think there is real value to update it for Mageia 9, while it make sense to keep it fairly recent in Cauldron.
