New ToDo window with Summary field text not truncated

korganizer-23.04.3-1.mga9
Xfce
Unsure because of translated interface exactly what "adding a new task" involves. I guessed: View-To do list-New to do
which popped a window, first field Calendar=Personal Calendar, then Summary: I typed 'Publication'. This did *not* drop the first character. I attach a screenshot.

I suspect having followed the wrong path. Please describe exactly.

When (in cauldron) starting korganizer with "LC_ALL=C korganizer" the Dutch words "Nieuwe taak", which really translate to "New Task", appear as "New To-do".

Setting this report to NEEDINFO, but assigning to KDE team anyway, because daviddavid told me (years ago) to just assign any KDE bugs to them without needing to investigate.

The reproducer is not 100%, this is why it takes me time.
When I put the cursor in the field, a tooltip is displayed saying that Shift key will display more information. Then I hit the Shift key, got another tooltip, and when typing, the tooltip closes, but the first key is not written in the field.
I case this has relevance, I'm with LXQt and Openbox as Window manager.
