Description Dave Hodgins 2011-11-12 01:40:39 CET
After upgrading to alpha 1 from mga 1 using the alpha 1 dvd, on
first reboot, there were many errors shown for drm radeon, although
eventually it did start kde ok. I'll attach the dmesg

Created attachment 1053 [details]
dmesg from first boot after upgrade

Note that this only happens after the upgrade from mga 1 to alpha 1.

It does not happen on either mga 1, or the cauldron install I've been
running separately, so it's likely something missing from the dvd iso.

First time I've seen it. Here's the video part from lspcidrake -v

unknown : ATI Technologies Inc|RV280 [Radeon 9200 SE] (Secondary) [DISPLAY_OTHER] (vendor:1002 device:5d44 subv:174b subd:7c27) (rev: 01)
Card:ATI Radeon X1950 and earlier: ATI Technologies Inc|RV280 [Radeon 9200 SE] [DISPLAY_VGA] (vendor:1002 device:5964 subv:174b subd:7c26) (rev: 01)
Comment 4 Dave Hodgins 2011-11-12 04:09:54 CET
Note: that output is while I'm in a Mageia 1 install, not the upgraded
install showing the error, if that matters.
