Description Dave Hodgins 2011-11-12 01:34:24 CET
Trying to start mcc fails with
/usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libDrakX/auto/c/stuff/stuff.so: undefined symbol: Perl_Gthr_key_ptr

This is after using the alpha 1 dvd to upgrade a mga 1 install.
Comment 1 D Morgan 2011-11-12 01:58:29 CET
please do rpm -qf /usr/lib/libDrakX/auto/c/stuff/stuff.so and rpmq -qf /usr/bin/perl

CC: (none) => dmorganec

Comment 2 Dave Hodgins 2011-11-12 04:02:37 CET
# rpm -qf /usr/lib/libDrakX/auto/c/stuff/stuff.so
drakxtools-backend-13.58-1.mga1

# rpm -qf /usr/bin/perl
perl-base-5.14.2-3.mga2

So the dvd upgrade did not update drakxtools-backend.

Looking through the report.gz, this is a urpmi cascade error caused
by the failure to install libdrakx-kbd-mouse-x11 reported in Bug 3324.

I'll close this bug as invalid.

It's not invalid and we even know how to reproduce this
