As far as I can see, there's currently no packaged LaTeX distribution available in Mageia 1. Would it be possible for someone to package one of the main LaTeX distros please? Either TeXlive-latex or tetex-latex would be the obvious choices.

Hello

TeXlive is already in the distribution. 
The package is named : texlive-20100722-35.mga1

So I'm closing this bug report as invalid.
