Description of problem: I see that binutils requires itself and the same version to actually install. I therfor ask for backporting binutils 2.42 from Cauldron to Mageia 9.

Does the current M9 version cause you a problem?

Yes, some packages I'm porting requires 2.42 to be installed.

Accept that it matters.
We actually have v2.42 in Cauldron, so this needs updating for M9.
