Hello,

I use Heroic game launcher (.rpm) to play games on Mageia9.

To start a game, I need to install vcrun2019. 

To do that, I must use winetricks:

With the proton 8 family winetricks blocks.
With the proton 7 family winetricks terminates but installs nothing.

I've tried proton and proton GE, it's the same thing. I've tried many versions of proton, none of them work ...

Installation crashes for vcrun 2017,2019,2022 ...

I've tried older versions of heroic game Launcher over three months. It makes absolutely no difference. I based this on a protondb message where the person seems to have had no problem.

I tried it on a working game, same result.

Neither winetricks nor heroic games launcher are distributed by Mageia. So solely a 3rd party package problem. Nothing what can be done from Mageia side.
