Description of problem:

 this openCPN plugin has been improved since opencpn-8.2.4 was packaged

this new version is updates_testing

Updated package in /core/updates_testings

opencpn-statusbar-plugin-1.1.9.0-1.mga9 for each arch

from SRPM 
opencpn-statusbar-plugin-1.1.9.0-1.mga9.src.rpm

This package needs to be tested on the opencpn version from core/updates
(opencpn-5.8.4-2)

But thanks yet again for your sterling work on this application.
And yes, a bit late, it would have been better to bundles all these updates in one bug. But carry on as-is.

to test it you simply have to verify that the update is done without any problem

in the menu "tools" choose plugins

Then you may choose to activate or not the statusbar in the bottom of your chart

Clean update.
Enabling the plugin switches on the bright green status bar at the bottom of the chart, with a lot of information.
