Description of problem:
In classic installer
When select individual packages (https://doc.mageia.org/installer/9/en/content/software.html#choosePackagesTree) software like firefox and libreoffice are part of all the desktops, this is a waste of space and make longer of the necessary the list

My suggestion is make a section "Common Software" where software like this and other that is necessary like wget or other core utils, could be placed

Hi José,

It is so long ago that I used the package tree to select packages, that I don't remember that some are replicated for different desktops. However, you saw this, so it is really like that.

If this is something you would like to work on yourself, read

Thank you for the info, perhaps if perl not was in the equation I did give it a try, but now with packager mentorship I'll be busy ;)
