Hi rexy, Thanks for your report. I'm glad you could work around it by allowing the clamav packages to be removed and reïnstalling them later. I assume this happened on all the systems where you saw this, long after the clamav packages had been pushed to the mirrors (so long after September 11. Assinging to all packagers collectively, since there is no registered maintainer for this package. CC'ing ns80, who often takes care of the clamav packages CC:

Description of problem: After automatic update process on several systems, clamav has been stopped and uninstalled Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): clamav-0.103.7-1.mga8.x86_64 Steps to Reproduce: ----------------- 1. Before the update process : # rpm -qa|grep clam clamav-0.103.7-1.mga8 clamd-0.103.7-1.mga8 clamav-db-0.103.7-1.mga8 lib64clamav9-0.103.7-1.mga8 # ps fax|grep clam 634 ? Ssl 0:15 /usr/sbin/clamd --foreground=true 1241 ?
