Current version of firefox shipped with Mageia 8 is 102, which is unsupported.

However, Mageia 8 is stille supported, so we might want to provide a supported firefox (115) until its end of life.

For example, we can't use slack.com on a Mageia 8 Firefox with latest updates.

Thank you for the report. Any site that does not work with Firefox matters.

Do you ever try other browsers? My preference is Falkon (although I have added Vivaldi externally).

Setting as security and high priority as this is a much used application, and have security implications if not updated.  In Mageia 9 we already shipped new Firefox as security update.

Workaround for users wanting to use latest Firefox (ESR or not) is to install it from upstream or as Flatpak.

I can't test anymore, I switched to Mageia 9.
Sad to see "High priority" being 2 weeks old without any news...
