qa-bugs Advisory: ========== Due to change in libkscreen, setting a monitor as primary did not work anymore. This update applies a fix to restore the functionality. ========== MGA9 64 LXQt Update with QA repo. No issues after installation, I can chose what monitor I want to put as primary. An if I want to extend my screen task bar stay at left. It's ok for me CC:

guillaume.royer Installed when only one display is used. Connect the second monitor. The taskbar stays on the first display, when previously, it was on the second display. Thus works as expected. This is on Mageia 9 x86_64 Advisory from comment 3 with SRPM from comment 2 added to SVN. Please remove the "advisory" keyword if it needs to be changed. It also helps when obsolete advisories are tagged as "obsolete" CC:

marja11 Giving this an OK and validating, based on the tests of comment 4 and comment 5. Whiteboard:

RESOLVED |
I have 2 monitors connected, eDP-1 at left and HDMI1 at right. I just upgraded and the taskbar is at right, when I want it at left. Thus I try to set eDP-1 as primary display and HDMI1 as secondary ("This screen extends another monitor"). Whatever I try (one setting, or both), Apply button redraws the taskbar, but the place is always on the HDMI1. This was the case before the update (from Mageia 8). Current Behavior The bug is from upstream and is fixed: https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt-config/commit/92376792d266f044423ca87434bd584c7cf555c2
