Description Cyril Levet 2023-10-14 17:10:18 CEST
Description of problem: When logging out from my Plasma session, the computer totally froze. Screen goes black and sleep because it does not receive any signal. USB mouse and keyboard are still powered, but the computer does not respond.

I have to restart the computer.

Switching user works fine.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): plasma-workspace-5.27.5-2.1.mga9, sddm-0.19.0-16.mga9

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Mageia 9 with KDE/Plasma as the only DE and SDDM as the only display manager
2. Setup 2 users (I don't try with a single user)
3. Launch Mageia and connect to your user.
4. Log out from Plasma.

Journal of the faulty log out

This is a journal with the log-out problem. Just a startup and logout.

I'm not sure this is caused by Plasma or sddm, but only searching for sddm shows some errors that I have never seen before, so assigning to the kde maintainers, in the hope they can shed light on the issue.

@ KDE maintainers,

Please assign back if KDE Plasme and SDDM have nothing to do with the issue
