Description of problem:
Firefox beta does not appear in the preferred applications of GNOME


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
8.0b5-1.mga2

How reproducible:
System settings->system info->preferred applications->try to change webbrowser

How to fix:
Add:
 x-scheme-handler/http
 x-scheme-handler/https
to firefox-beta.desktop


e.g. using desktop-file-install --add-mime-type=

I don't think we've to add those to the entry of firefox-beta since they're not in regular firefox.

Have you tried latest version of firefox-beta where I synced its entry with the regular firefox one?

Since there are insufficient details provided in this report for us to investigate the issue further, and we have not received feedback to the information we have requested above, we will assume the problem was not reproducible, or has been fixed in one of the updates we have released for the reporter's distribution.
