After fresh installation of  Mageia 9 (not upgrading Mageia 8 ! and with /home/user/ .local; .config ; .cache all renamed .old on Mageia 8 ) the Desktop screen showing the desktop as folder does not show all files and folder existing in /home/user/Desktop

How reproducible:
1-For instance open with the browser Internet and find a picture Photo.jpeg
2-In the browser "save as" Photo.jpeg in /home/user/Desktop. verified with Dolphin : Photo.jpeg is really in the folder Desktop
3- Returning to the Desktop screen , no Photo.jpeg
4- After a reboot no more Photo.jpeg on the screen

Steps to correct the situation manually :
1.Go on the screen desktop
2.right click 
3.desktop configuration
4.Pass "disposition " from Folder to desktop
5.validation
6.pass "disposition " from desktop to Folder 
7. validdation . from this moment the Photo.jpeg appears on the screen

Notice : on another computer with the same configuration (ie Mageia 9 ) I saw once more the icons scrambled after reboot (the old bug) , but for this we wait I have more informations

If Dolphin finds the file Photo.jpeg in the file /home/usr/Desktop it does not appears in /home/usr/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc

It appears there only after the above manually correction

This looks like a Plasma issue: on LXDE I have just tried putting an image file in ~/Desktop, and it showed up immediately. I need to try what happens with other desktops.

on both laptop , after many problems as Scrambled icons after reboots, (my two display do not have the same definition those all solution tried with xrandr) i did a new installation of Mageia 9
Result : 
On one , since new installation screen Desktop does  show all files
On the other it was the same , but when i did a change with xrandr the problem reappears (and also one icon was above the trash icon ie at the same place ). After another change with Xrandr it disappears, so was OK

After recent updates to plasma this is still valid?
