Description Samuel Verschelde 2023-09-11 10:51:50 CEST
I think this happened ever this I've been added to admin groups, long ago. At some point I was received e-mails from the qa-discuss ML twice. I unsubscribed from the mailing list (long ago, too), but I've kept received e-mails from the mailing list (just once, now).

My e-mail is stormi-mageia at ylix dot fr.

I couldn't find anything in the web UI to change this.

Could someone have a look in SYMPA's database to see what happens and if it can be fixed?

A sign that I'm not really subscribed: I can't send e-mails to the list, they're rejected.

Or maybe it was when I changed my e-mail address from stormi at laposte dot net to the new one. I don't remember precisely.

Can you check the mail header to see what address you got it on ?
Comment 3 Samuel Verschelde 2023-09-11 14:03:26 CEST
I did it already, and if I read it well, it does send it to the address mentioned above.
Comment 4 Thomas Backlund 2023-09-11 14:12:27 CEST
Hm, weird.

According to sympa you are only subscribed with your new address to:
board-public
bugsquad-discuss
council
mageia-association-members
sysadmin-discuss

and nothing on the old laposte address

Can you forward the mail headers to to me so I can try and trace it...
(you can send off-list directly to me)

Mail sent!

Is this still an issue?

CC: (none) => dan

Comment 7 Samuel Verschelde 2024-02-13 11:22:26 CET
Yes, it still is.
Comment 8 Dan Fandrich 2024-02-18 09:38:07 CET
I also can't see a path to you receiving qa-discuss messages. It might be a message that's sent to two addresses, one of which is qa-discuss. If you send me a copy of a recent one I'll take a look.

Thanks. Mail sent to you with the full e-mail source of one of the recent messages.

Thanks for sending it. It helped me to figure out the cause: you're getting messages via your membership in the mga-iso-testers group. Do you still need membership in that group? If not, we could just drop you from it.

Nice catch! I didn't know this membership caused the messages to be sent. Yes, please remove me.
