Thanks to another user in the Spanish community, I solved it using "plymouth-set-default-theme Mageia-Default" in terminal as root. This is a solution to the problem after updating, but we would have to see why the change was not made correctly during the update to Mageia 9. Greetings!

fri I've checked that updating from mgaonline with GUI, also happens this. Did I understand correctly that it is only the image shown before the login screen that is old? Summary:
Updating from Mageia 8 by urpmi commands, =>
Upgrading from Mageia 8, boot splash is still from Mageia 8 I thought there was an earlier bug about this, but cannot find it (if there was one). Assigning to the 'tools' people. Assignee:

mageiatools Any news about this bug? A few days ago I updated a computer from Mageia 8 to 9 and the problem continues to appear.

j.alberto.vc What I can confirm is the file back.jpg in /usr/share/gfxboot/themes/Mageia/boot/message is not the current mageia background, is the mageia 7 version https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Wallpaper#Mageia_7 |
