Thank you for the report. I think we need the system journal including the "Standby" or "Hibernate" that you cannot get out of. If you can reproduce the situation, and can only re-start the computer by powering it off/on, in the new session, please do: $ journalctl --no-hostname -b -1 > journal.txt $ xz journal.txt which will produce a compressed journal of the previous session, 'journal.txt.xz' Please attach that file to this bug. Although not exactly the same, these other bugs are in the same area: bug 31895, bug 31961. CC:
