Description Ezequiel Partida 2023-07-13 03:12:52 CEST
Description of problem:

Once mga 9 RC 1 is installed open Info Center,

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Graphics,opencl.

You will get an error: The clinfo tool is required fo display this page.

The same if you choose OpenGL: eglinfo tool is required.

On Vulkan. vulkaninfo tool is required. This one is not yet available on the repos, at least I could not find it.

And probably libmesaopencl1 to have opencl available as default.

On my AMD Laptop I noticed the error below and I google it and found that I needed libclc to be installed, this supports many other AMD other thatn oland.

=== CL_PROGRAM_BUILD_LOG ===
fatal error: cannot open file '/usr/lib64/clc/oland-amdgcn-mesa-mesa3d.bc' libclc

All these packages are not required but recommended and our kinfocenter recommends all:

$ urpmf --recommends kinfocenter
kinfocenter:clinfo
kinfocenter:eglinfo
kinfocenter:fwupd
kinfocenter:hwids
kinfocenter:pciutils
kinfocenter:plasma-disks
kinfocenter:smartmontools
kinfocenter:vulkan-tools
kinfocenter:xdpyinfo

They are not required for kinfocenter to function, and can be installed
after installing from the iso if desired. Keeping the bloat of the iso
images to a minimum is a good thing.

Closing as invalid.
