Thank you for the report. It certainly matters; the English version has: ln [OPTION]... [-T] TARGET LINK_NAME This is very likely to be true also for Mageia 9, so I am jumping the gun by making this an M9 bug + M8. It can be reverted if M9 'man ln' is already correct. CC'ing DavidG (for a French system) to see what M9 is like - a few seconds. SVP. I never know where to send things like this, so CC'ing Morgan who might know. After DavidG's confirmation. Summary:

8 Thanks for checking M9 is OK. Wonder how you found the file you cited. On my own system, which has no French language, but a French AZERTY keyboard, it specifically does not exist; but /usr/share/man/fr/man1 does - with about 70 entries. Academic. CC:
