Hello,

This is a problem I reported before on new fresh installs of mageia 9 spanish, all folders except Desktop get´s translated.

The way I fix this is by upgrading to the latest updates first, restart and login to icewb, this way I get a window to rename folders, this window never appears on kde plasma.

Can you say *where* this missing translation of 'Desktop' shows, the other home directories being translated. For example, in file managers; or from
 $ ls

If I open Dolphin and go to home I see the names below, sames on konsole. Dolphin also links to those folders on home.

I think you are right, Morgan.
That goes back to at least Mageia 6, and looks to be a permanent problem. It seems to hang on the fact that if any of the $HOME directories are not empty, they do not get renamed locally. I thought ~/Desktop always had something in it (basic desktop icons), but apparently not.
