Description Oliver Burger 2011-10-27 13:37:10 CEST
As can be seen here: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Short_guide_to_transifex

there is a problem with picture converting.
Comment 1 claire robinson 2011-10-29 16:45:45 CEST
I've experienced this one too with a jpg image.

I previously uploaded a small png icon and didn't receive the error.

Error yes - https://wiki.mageia.org/en/File:Question_computer.jpg

Error no - https://wiki.mageia.org/en/File:Warning_Icon.png

Anything new?
Comment 3 claire robinson 2012-01-22 15:13:31 CET
It happens if you install the mediawiki package locally on mga1 too.
Comment 4 Michael Scherer 2012-01-29 16:28:27 CET
I think that images are too large for the limit we placed on php.

Comment 5 Oliver Burger 2012-01-29 16:39:36 CET
Then we should enlarge that limit or at least tell people how large that image is. If somebody sees that error from mediawiki, he has no chance of getting the clue...
Comment 6 Michael Scherer 2012-01-29 16:46:41 CET
The limit is already at 128 mo ( in php.ini ). I am not sure I would really see a php script consume more, and I fail to see how resizing a image would take more than that. In fact, i fail to see how this apply to convert, who is a different process.
Comment 7 Michael Scherer 2012-01-29 16:57:06 CET
I switched to gd, seems to fix the issue.

Resolution: (none) => FIXED

Comment 8 claire robinson 2012-01-29 18:42:53 CET
If it a fix that could be applied to the mediawiki package in mga1?
Comment 9 Michael Scherer 2012-01-31 18:13:24 CET
That's in our configuration, for a problem in the package, please fill another bug.
