The sound card Delta 44 - Professional 4-In/4-Out Audio Card does not produce any sound with Mageia. It works with Mandriva 2010.2 with pulseaudio disabled.

Both distribution use the same snd-* modules. The difference I have found is envy24control which is missing. The RPM is not provided in Mageia.
With Mandriva, envy24control and the module snd-ice1712 are automatically installed.
