Kcharselect-crash-range
Steps to reproduce: 1. Select font. Right. 2. Select European languages. Left. 3. Select Base Latin. Middle. No problem. 4. Select Cyrillic. Crash. I think problem comes out when problematic range has not contain any glyphs or corrupted (in a certain way). I think KCharSelect should not crash in this way. Bug assigned to the package maintainer. balcaen.john You're not up to date, could you test with the last qt4 version ? Because from the crash log you're using qt4.7.3 when we're having qt 4.7.4 (which fix several bugs) in mageia/updates. CC:

balcaen.john Also kcharselect does not crash here on i586 when selecting cyrillic Created attachment 1009 [details]
kcharselect crash report
I'm getting a similar segfault on my up-to-date i586 Mageia 1 install,
when I select African scripts with the left drop down button, but only
if I'm switching from European Alphabets to African Scripts. If I
switch to Middle Eastern scripts, and then to African scripts, it works.
There's an upstream bug regarding that cf https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=235020 See Also:
