Remark: Since I have these error messages launches Firefox, Thunderird,... are much longer

Hi,

In fact I'm not sure what I hacked (using Backports?), but seen via urpmq --not-available I had: 
- lib64glib2.0_0-2.75...
- glib2.0-common-2.75... 

After in particular: 
- urpmi --downgrade glib2.0-common-2.75.2-1.mga9 
- urpmi --downgrade lib64glib2.0_0-2.74.5-3.mga9
my problems with the service xdg-desktop-portal have disappeared :)

So sorry there are no problems with the _current mga9 rpms_.
