Description Morgan Leijström 2023-03-21 18:33:13 CET
Description of problem:

Version 6 is no longer maintained.
(and our is 6.0.7 old while last 6 is 6.0.11 anyway)

Version 7 is what users wish
- It have some nice improvements over 6.
https://hackaday.com/2023/02/13/kicad-7-0-0-is-here-brings-trove-of-improvements/

I believe now is a good time to ship it as bugfix version 7.0.1 released (ten days ago.)

https://www.kicad.org/blog/categories/Release-Notes/

7.0.1 is already in Cauldron.

IF there is any problem, mga8 users can downgrade back to our mga8 6.0.7 (July 2022) version.
Configuration are kept separate between versions.

I can test on mga8-64

Thought on the side

I think it would be good to let kicad package recommend lib64ngspice0, so simulation works directly.
