How reproducible:
open dolphin -> configuration -> configure dolphin -> image jpeg
On the right the automatic image rotation key is missing

This was never a standard feature of dolphin, but needs additional extensions. As you didn't tell which extension you are using one can only guess...

One of the available extensions in MGA is kim4 (Image menu for KDE). It adds image actions for the right-click-menu in dolphin and works flawlessly in MGA8/MGA9...

So please provide relevant informations....

Now it gets clear that you are talking about the thumbnail/preview.

This is no Mageia bug (not even a bug at all). The plasma developers decided to remove clutter and unused features in many menus and placed them into other places (if required) starting with plasma 5.25.

As you can see yourself in Dolphin 20.12 there were only two entries (images and video) which had an additional setting dialog. Starting with Plasma 5.25 this was removed and all previews are no consistent without additional setting dialog.

This is the same in Fedora 37 and Tumbleweed which use the same actual Dolphin 22.12.3.
