Description of problem:

Installing/updating of shared-mime-info-2.2-3.mga9 package fails due to conflicting files from package mageia-kde4-config-common-5-0.20150505.12.mga9.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Try to update/install both packages together.

Error message from urpmi:

Installation failed:    file /usr/share/applications/kde-mimeapps.list from install of shared-mime-info-2.2-3.mga9.x86_64 conflicts with file from package mageia-kde4-config-common-5-0.20150505.12.mga9.noarch

Thank you for the report. shared-mime-info has just been updated again to:
 shared-mime-info-2.2-4
Can you please say whether the error still occurs after this update?

It is still the case with the new version "shared-mime-info-2.2-4.mga9".

PS: The file "/usr/share/applications/kde-mimeapps.list" is present in both packages, so one of these packages has to be altered or dropped maybe. 
 This particular system has been cloned and propagated from earlier versions of mageia and I don't recall why "mageia-kde4-config-common" was installed, but it seems to be pulled by "Default-kde4-config" package... 
This bug may hinder upgrading to Mageia 9 if "mageia-kde4-config-common" package is present.

Thank you for this update.
Something needs to be fixed. Assigning to KDE team for:
 mageia-kde4-config-common
and CC'ing ghibo who has updated:
 shared-mime-info
recently.

Yep, I'm on it, as suggested on dev@ml, needed to remove /usr/share/applications/kde-mimeapps.list from  mageia-kde4-config-common and add a lua script for proper upgrading.
