- this thread which you refer in your spec is from 2011: how is it applicable to an up to date Xorg/operating system? - your spec does not provide a proper source URL (no source available in a forum!) - your spec refers to a highly outdated package from PCLinuxOS which is from 2011 (x11-driver-input-synaptics-1.4.1-2pclos2011.i586.rpm): how is this applicaple to Mageia with x11-driver-input-synaptics-1.9.1-3.mga8 and x11-driver-input-synaptics-1.9.2-1.mga9? - the description refers to an heavily outdated Xorg 1.10.2 - .... and more.... This needs so much fixing before packaging it for Mageia: - this "tool" refers to the "New xorg 1.10.2" in its GUI - scriptlet fails whilst installation - spelling errors in the GUI - refers to openSUSE in GUI - ... Trawling this rather late... Sorry. In the light of sturmvogel's observations, we should close this. Messing with 12-year old fixes... Other inconsistencies (touchpad|touchscreen), no justification.
