31409 AMD Phenom II X4, AMD HD 8490 graphics, MGA8-64 Plasma system. This system does not have hardware to use the broadcom driver, but does have the driver installed with the backported kernels. Updated broadcom-wl, then updated to kernel-desktop 6.1.6-1. The broadcom-wl module appeared to build and install without issue. HP Probook 6550b, i3, Intel graphics, bcm43224 wifi, MGA8-64 Plasma system using kernel-desktop 5.15.82-1. Updated the broadcom-wl driver with no issues, then rebooted. The wifi connection remained strong and steady. The Probook does not have an M8 install using the broadcom-wl, but it does have a Cauldron (Mageia 9) install that was recently updated to be using the same broadcom-wl and kernel-desktop 6.1.6-1, and the wifi on that install is working well. Between the three systems, this should be enough testing. Giving this an OK, and validating. CC:
