Thank you for the report.

First, can we be clear that this worked OK before the latest freerdp update?
Can you confirm exactly which versions of the packages you have? They should be the latest of (what I can see, I am not on M8 at the moment; but $ urpmq -i [pkg name] lists all the pkg versions):

freerdp-2.2.0-1.mga8.src.rpm
freerdp-2.2.0-1.1.mga8.src.rpm
freerdp-2.2.0-1.2.mga8.src.rpm

remmina-1.4.10-1.mga8.src.rpm

$ rpm -q --last [pkg name]
will show when they were most recently installed.

You should be able to use
 # urpmi --downgrade [full pkg name-version up to .mga8]
to revert to the previous version, and confirm that works as before.

Hi,

I have installed the versions that you see. I'm sure this bug is reproduced with the latest version because I have a varios computers working with remmina and rdp connection. Only one don't update to the last version and this computer haven't this bug.

I have tried with urpmi --downgrade but don't install previous version.
Comment 3 Jose Manuel López 2022-12-22 21:50:19 CET
Hi again.

I have tried to downgrade freerdp to 2.2.20-1.4 and the bug is fixed with this version, so we have the bug in 1.5 version of freerdp.

Greetings!!

Thank you for trying this, and isolating the fault. Sorry for the incomplete listing of the freedp versions.

Assigning to DavidG who looks after this package.

Comment 5 David GEIGER 2022-12-24 13:37:48 CET
I think it would be preferable to update freerdp to latest 2.9.0 release which fixes all security issues and also remmina to latest 1.4.29.
Comment 6 David GEIGER 2022-12-24 18:48:39 CET
Please test upcoming freerdp-2.9.0 and remmina-1.4.19 in Core/Updates_testing repo!
Comment 7 Jose Manuel López 2022-12-27 09:09:46 CET

This was never assigned to QA - doing that now.

Validating according to Comment 7.

Advisory needed.
