Description of problem:

I tried to install Mageia 9 Alpha on an Acer Aspire 3 A315-56, but the hard drive is not detected by Mageia.
I also booted on a live image and the hard drive is not recognized either.

I've had "nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=14000" in the boot sequence, with no more sucess.

I also try Mageia 8 live iso and Mint 21 Cinnamon with same result.

Hi, 
I can't find an option to change the sata mode in the bios.
It is in Optane without Raid mode, but I can't find where to change this option in the Bios. The first page is inaccessible for modification!

If I'm understanding it, select (highlight) "Optane without RAID" and press
f5 or f6 to change it to AHCI.

I've changed the sata mode to Ahci with sucess.
I'm now try to boot with live iso.

I managed to boot with the Mageia 9 live iso without placing a special command to the kernel.
The disk is now visible and I managed to prepare the partitions for a Mageia installation.

Changing to invalid since this was not a bug in Mageia.
