Disconnect APC UPS.
Mic still not working.
Disconnect mic.
Reconnect mic; works.
I have the same apc ups system # lsusb |grep 51d Bus 001 Device 002: ID 051d:0002 American Power Conversion Uninterruptible Power Supply but do not have a usb microphone, just one connected to my sound card. I've seen no impact on other usb devices, and see no indication of problems in the provided journal or lsusb output. If you boot with the UPS connected, and then connect the microphone, does it work? Does it work if both are connected before booting? CC:

NEEDINFO Dang! I HATE when symptoms change/disappear... Decided to retest and the issue is not present now. What wasn't clear the original report is that both USB microphones were affected; one is part of the webcam, and while audio was dead, video was fine. Hmm... the very last updated package was: webcamoid-9.0.0-3.mga9.x86_64 Fri 09 Dec 2022 08:18:45 PM EST Will close for now. Resolution:
