Description of problem: when attempting to add online repos after installation of system returns:
retrieval of [/var/cache/urpmi/basic.9.i586.list?product=Default] failed. 

as curl is default, changing to wget via configure media > global. then allows the media to be added.

See bug 31047. curl is currently broken. As Morgan writes, we already have a request to change the default downloader, so closing as a duplicate.
