Read about it here: https://steamtricks.github.io/steamtricks/

It runs alongside with Steam to fix known issues with the Steam client.

For instance:

  Check dependencies and prompt to install missing
  Apply fixes anytime a game is updated
  Display status notifications
  Suspend checks while games are running

To classify the usefulness of this package:

- only ONE distribution ships this package: openSUSE
- this package only provides "tricks" for 9 steam games (out of several thousands)
- most of the additional "fixes" can be done without steamtricks as steam itself provides the possibility to overhand startoptions for each game
- this project has really low activity...

Failure to run Football Manager 2014

I can't even run Football Manager 2014 with Steam even if I use steamtricks to "fix" the game.

With more than enough on our plate, this looks eligible to ignore.
However, CC'ing our games maintainer Rémi for info, in case he wants to take this up.
