seems to be a wayland issue. today logged in using *Gnome* (on wayland?) and issue apparent. logot and then login using *Gnome on X11* and it works ok. Trying quickly with LXDE, Dasher works - but starts with an error message about "No user training text found ....". Will try this under Gnome to test whether Ben's report is 32-bit related. CC:

lewyssmith valid for beta1 CI. under x11 no issue, under Wayland, the letters (for selection) do not scroll. however, if the speed is up(to say 5.0), and the mouse is placed on the *letter* side of the panel, the window displaying the (normally) selected text starts to fill. I tried to record (using simple screen recorder) but this does not operate under wayland :( closing and creating new bug report Resolution:
