Thank you for the report. Note it is for *32-bit*, so is probably a build issue.. I use Falkon routinely (like now), 64-bit, and it works. Assigning to the KDE people. Summary:
Falcon will open but gets stuck on an error and is unusable =>
Falkon will open but gets stuck on an error and is unusable: 32-bit (OK 64-bit) Thank you The update today, falkon-22.08.3-1.mga9 did not fix the problem. todays update falkon-22.12.0-1.mga9 did not fix the problem. Plasma update today does not fix Falkon. (In reply to Stephen Germany from comment #0) > 1.run falkon from the menu entry or console > 2.see the error and lack of function May you at least post the error message and the console output (this complete bug does not even mention what the error is...) This would help as not many ppl still have ancient 32bit machines to reproduce... Created attachment 13718 [details]
console output
here is the console output. It just keeps repeating.
Falkon actually opens, but it is not responsive.
Does the new updated qtwebengine5-5.15.10-8.mga9 fixed the 32 bit issue? CC:

geiger.david68210 Sadly, no. Same behavior. What is the output of the command in your system? $ rpm -qa |grep webengine I'm at work now. I'll check when I get home. [germ@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa | grep webengine libkf5webengineviewer5-22.12.3-1.mga9 libqt5webengine5-5.15.10-8.mga9 libqt5webenginecore5-5.15.10-8.mga9 qtwebengine5-5.15.10-8.mga9 libqt5webenginewidgets5-5.15.10-8.mga9 [germ@localhost ~]$ Seems that i586 doesn't get as much attention as x86_64. I'm closing this bug. I removed Mageia i586 from the machine. Closed hmm, seems it won't let me close it..... Resolution:
