Smooth reboot to Mate desktop.  No regressions noted but bluetooth audio needed some attention.  The audio device needed to be removed and setup anew before connection succeeded.  Apart from that everything is working.

Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet 
  driver: r8169

Mate desktop running fine.  Bluetooth audio synced without any fuss.
NFS and NAS OK.  Lots of attached drives mounted and visible - USB and SATA->USB.
vdis stored on one of them.  VirtualBox working.  Combined stress test for CPU cores, RAM and i/o completed successfully.  glmark2 refract test OK.
