Thank you for the report. To summarise your hardware, please post the output of: $ inxi -MSGxx You talk of Plasma. Is what you are trying to do possible with Mageia Control Centre-Hardware-Configure Graphics ? Are you able to try the first problem "Attach Monitor to hdmi: Screen gets mirrored, but is not shown" [incidentally, I do not understand what you mean] with a different desktop? That is, do you think your graphics problems are down to Mageia generally, or Plasma? CC:

lewyssmith sorry, I found the problem. X was using fbdev instead of amdgpu. After switching to amdgpu all works fine. I think that's a problem of the old kernel the installer uses. It left me stranded with no X after reboot. After updating the system X worked, but still used fbdev, which I didn't notice. Support for AMD Ryzen CPU/GPU series got added in later kernel versions (later than the one on release media). To prevent such problems it is recommended to setup online medias in the first installer steps, so that the latest available drivers/kernels/firmeware gets pulled. Unsure about the status, but i would set it to WORKSFORME. Status:
