  - This update provides Darktable 4.0, which is the latest upstream release.
  - This new version comes with many bug fixes, improvements in various tools, such as new colour science in the filmic module, restructuring of the user interface with new filters for image categories in the photo libraries, improvements in image export and other modules, improvements in memory management and Opencl performance and more.

We can close this bug since darktable will no longer be updated in Mageia 8 and is already updated in Mageia 9 to a higher version than the bug.

The new version works fine in Mageia 8. I did tests myself before moving to Mageia 9, so it could be uploaded to Mageia 8 perfectly.
