System Settings  / Download New plasma Styles

I get.

Installation of /tmp/FVYINl-nova-color.tar.gz failed: Could not create package root directory: /home/username/.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme/

Once I created the folder gave permissions everything works great.

I just wanted to let you know this small issue.

Sounds like the bug is in the nova-color style thing you downloaded.

Can you tell us the exact name and creator of the plasma style you want to install?

The nearest theme i could find is "nova" from "x-varlesh-x". This theme is completely broken and can not be installed in Plasma 5.24
If this is the theme you want to install you should report it to the creator and this bug here can be closed as INVALID.

If you install a (working) plasma style the path including the deskoptheme directory gets automatically created.

I tested this style under an up to date Tumbleweed. It was not possible to install it. This style is completely broken and not compatible with newer plasma versions. So not a Mageia or Plasma issue but a broken style. Please report it to the creator.
