kde I had the same problem described by this bug. In my case, the solution was to make sure lib64konsoleapp22-22.03.90 and lib64konsoleprivate22-22.03.90 are installed and older versions of these packages are not present anymore. There seems to be some complications when updating rpm packages that have their name dependent of their version(i.e. lib64konsoleapp21 vs. lib64konsoleapp22). Hope this helps. Regards CC:

arusanu The resolution as mentioned by Aurelian of removing older lib64konsoleapp21 and lib64konsoleprivate21 packages manually and installing the lib64konsoleapp22 & lib64konsoleprivate22 packages, works. i am adding a conflict to ease update. thanks for the debug :-) CC:
