libdav1d has been upgraded to version 6. Version 5 is no longer supplied..
lib64ffmpegthumbnailer4 at least remains dependent on the missing version and won't install

lib64dav1d6-1.0.0-1.mga9 is available in cauldron.
lib64ffmpegthumbnailer4-2.2.2^git20220218-1.mga9 depends on the mentioned lib64dav1d6.

Please update your cauldron system as this problem is already fixed.

[reopened for x264]

Thanks. It was available on my mirror shortly after i submitted the issue.

Btw, among the packages installed on my system, one remains linked to the old version.

$ ldd /usr/bin/x264 | grep dav1d
        libdav1d.so.5 => not found
$ rpm -q -f /usr/bin/x264 
x264-0.157-0.20191217.stable.3.mga9.tainted

But it's in tainted. i am not sure if i am expected to report it here or not ?

It seems that libavcodec/ffmpeg is not properly rebuild.

Unsure exactly where the problem arises. Exploring on M8:
$ urpmq -- whatrequires lib64avcodec58
$
$ urpmq -- requires lib64avcodec58
$

$ urpmf libdav1d.so.5
lib64dav1d5:/usr/lib64/libdav1d.so.5
lib64dav1d5:/usr/lib64/libdav1d.so.5.0.0

$ urpmq -i lib64dav1d5

$ urpmq --requires x264 | grep dav1d
$
$ urpmq --requires-recursive x264 | grep dav1d

Mageia 9 Mass Rebuild was done recently.

No evident packager to steer this to, so assigning it globally.
