Description of problem:As summary.
While using dolphin with embedded konsole the prompt will suddenly change to
bash-5.1$
I can recover the correct one with:
bash-5.1$ cd
bash-5.1$ . ./.bashrc
[baz@localhost ~]$

Does anyone know how to fix this or what may be the cause?

I have left the package blank as I don't know the cause.

Do you know whether it only occurs in this scenario, or afflicts Konsole independantly? I doubt the latter, as somebody else would surely have complained.

When it next happens, can you please post the output of:
 $ echo $PS1
while the prompt is wrong, and again after correcting it ($ . ~/.bashrc)

And see whether you can find where the 'bash-5.1' comes from. I cannot find it in either my home directory nor /etc/* on my own system, and I do have Plasma.
