I suspect this issue is very application dependant, and the request unrealistic. Assuming you are using Plasma: just to play with this, perhaps you (or anyone else) can tell me exactly how you get it to restore applications (which with another of your bugs I could not achieve). CC:

https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30233 Having got Plasma to restore interrupted applications left running on logout/login, I found (bug 30233) like yourself that exactly what happens depends on the application. The main thing is that they do get restored - or what they were doing can be restored - one way or another. This is not worth a bug. It is all down to how things happen in unusual circumstances. If you think it really matters, this is an upstream matter for Konsole. Try the forum; or a bug there. Please excuse the 'invalid' closure; it just means here not worth a bug. Resolution:
