Description Kristoffer Grundström 2022-04-08 05:43:17 CEST
Description of problem: I see that our version of poedit is old even in Cauldron.
I therefor suggest to update to 3.0.1.
We I compare our spec file of the current version with OpenSUSE's version, in order to build it we need to have these packages installed as well:

libboost_iostreams-devel
libboost_regex-devel
libboost_system-devel
libboost_thread-devel

These packages doesn't exist in either Mageia 8 or in Cauldron when looking.

Now, looking at our boost spec file I can't see that these packages are being built from it.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.0.1

We dont need useless spec changes from other distros for stuff we already have
Comment 3 Lewis Smith 2022-04-08 21:23:40 CEST
Our latest Cauldron version is 2.4.3, and has been rebuilt since for boost 1.76-77-78.
This SRPM is with DavidG, so assigning this to you. It looks (I think) from tmb's comment that it is more straightforward than Kristoffer implies.

poedit is now at 3.2.2 (last upstream release) on Cauldron, so closing as fixed!
