davidwhodgins That last point was worth noting. But would it be necessary? We often have >1 package for the same sort of application. "Barrier was forked from Symless's Synergy 1.9 codebase. Synergy was a commercialized reimplementation of the original CosmoSynergy ... barrier is not compatible with synergy ... Synergy has moved beyond its goals from the 1.x era, Barrier aims to maintain that simplicity." @DavidS Thank you for the suggestion. Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might, if there are no license or other legal issues, want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.
