Summary:	wifi adapter driver not installed. Aadapter worked in mageia 8 with aircrack-ng /rtl8812au driver found github and added the klernel from a bug request I made at the time.I believe there could be a new driver called Realtek 8812AU driver version 5.9.3.2

Description of problem:
Wifi adapter not working in  mageia 9 due to no driver for it in the mageia tree 

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
AUKEY WiFi Adapter RF-12, AC1750 Dual Band USB 3.0 Wireless Adapter 

How reproduce
Either the aircrack-ng /rtl8812au or the  gordboy /rtl8812au-5.9.3.2 needs to be installed into the kernel for the adapter to work

This wifi adapter would only work because I initially reported it in previous bug requests and pointing out that there was a driver on GITHUb  (aircrack-ng /rtl8812au). This driver was ported into the mageie kernel and I was able to use the adapter.
I have now looked again and there would seem  that this driver may have been superseded  by another driver known as the (gordboy /rtl8812au-5.9.3.2 driver)

we already have the 8812au driver in kernel. you need tp be more specific of any issues, like logs, lsusb output and so on...

From the output the the adapter in question is the (Bus 007 Device 002: ID 0bda:8813 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8814AU 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wireless Adapter) and when it was working in mageia 8 it was using the Module: ‎rtl8812au.

Seems the last 8812au update disabled 8814 hw support.

I've updated the 8812au driver in the kernel so it will be part of 5.16.4-1 that should hopefully be out tomorrow

The update from the kernel 5.16.4-1 has now enabled the Wi-Fi adapter to function correctly again.

I would like to be advised if future updates to the kernel will disable the 8814 hw support or has this issue been permanently resolved now.
