alien: deb package build failed

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run alien -d dummy.rpm 

Warning: Skipping conversion of scripts in package toolbox: postinst postrm
Warning: Use the --scripts parameter to include the scripts.
Package build failed. Here's the log:

Thank you Heiko for reporting this, and finding the upstream fix;
and katnatek for spotting the duplicate - I agree.

In the original bug, Alex had done his own fix:
