with running urpmi it fails and I get long errors (attachment).

Readding media did not change it. How do I update?

you got caught by the broken perl-URPM update....

to fix:
rpm -Uvh http://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/mageia.org/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/media/core/release/perl-URPM-5.222-1.mga9.x86_64.rpm

Version: 8 => Cauldron
